SAFETY COORDINATOR AT AUSTRALIAN OIL AND GAS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Well established multidiscipline construction and engineering PMA company invite qualified and experienced professionals who can work as a team, with proven competencies in the whole range of development and improvement initiatives, to fill the following position:

SAFETY COORDINATOR

Will be located in: Project Location

Accountabilities:



· Bachelor Degree or equivalent

· At least 4 years experience in a similar position in Mining / Oil & Gas Construction Industry

· Must have adequate technical background to support construction team for hazard identification and risk assessment and method for hazard control in construction activity

· Must Have Strong Leadership and Commitment to establish safe working environment

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Data Reporting

· Excellent communication skill in Bahasa and English both verbal and written.

· Familiar with Safety Management System development and implementation

· Familiar with HSE Procedure & Documentation including development and implementation of the Project Safety Plan as required by Safety Management System

· Must have a Hands-on Attitude to the work environment.

· Diligent and able to work under pressure, self motivated with a positive working attitude


Key Responsibilities:

· Planning and implementation of safety programs and procedures.

· Preparing and conducting safety toolbox meeting & safety orientation assessment.

· Conducting routine safety inspections and monitoring safety performance

· Providing advice and assistance to the Project Manager and employees in implementation of training programs and risk assessments.

· Supporting project staff in the daily management of safety issues.

· Promote and develop a safety–proactive safety culture.
